John Beach, Partner
john@pacesconstruction.com • 404-841-8841 ext 20
John Beach first took a keen interest in woodworking as a kid in his grandfather’s Brookhaven workshop on Club Drive. The sturdy workbench and rows of traditional hand and large power tools seemed magical in their ability to create toys, and later fine furniture, from rough stacks of wood. Now over 40 years later John continues to craft fine furniture, sculpt and build/remodel houses with the same attention to detail, sometimes on that same workbench now in his shop. Along the way John worked in construction in high school and college, as a Skilled Supervisor volunteer for Habitat, and has been called a “serial remodeler” by his family. John lives in Buckhead with his wife Ann, son Harrison, and 2 pointers, Tesla and Pinto.

Richard Everett, Partner
richard@pacesconstruction.com • 404-841-8841 ext 30
Richard offers a unique background to the residential construction industry. Studies in engineering and marketing, plus a previous career in advertising honed his skills in detail-orientation, and cultivating and maintaining very productive client relationships. While planning his career change, Richard discovered a way to evolve a favorite childhood hobby to get a lot closer to architecture, his first passion. Richard grew up playing with friends on new home construction sites along Mt. Paran Rd. He also survived seven live-in remodels with his parents and three with his wife (before she said no more). Richard may never pursue that masters in architecture, but helping form Paces certainly allowed him to get back into construction and continue building wonderful client relationships. Richard still climbs around job sites, now for his clients.
Other passions for Richard include his wife, two college students and one chocolate lab, helping others, and community involvement and service. One of his most gratifying endeavors stems from coaching and mentoring Boy Scouts into becoming Eagle Scouts.

“I’m so happy to work for a company I believe in.”
Jennifer joined the Paces team after first being a client. The kitchen and keeping room renovation that Paces Construction completed at her home was featured on The Junior League Tour of Kitchens and continues to be the heart of her home. Jennifer’s love of home projects began as a child growing up in a house built in the 1700’s. She claims that after that experience no remodeling job scares her. Prior to joining Paces Construction, Jennifer used her construction and design talents to purchase, renovate and resell homes in Atlanta.
Jennifer and her husband Keith live in Sandy Springs with their two sons, Sam a student at USC and Matthew, a student at The Westminster Schools. Her family jokes that she is never happier than when there is a construction dumpster in their driveway.

Jerry Blackerby started building tree houses and forts when he was a young boy and really enjoyed it. He says he’s just building better forts today with better tools and much bigger budgets. Jerry grew up in Marietta and now lives in Ackworth on Lake Altoona with his wife Joette. They are now empty-nesters, with 6 grown kids; Shannon, Shane, Cindy, Adam, Amanda and Lindsay. Jerry joined Paces Construction in 2007 and has over 35 years’ experience in all facets of carpentry for remodeling and new construction.
